Blomgren has an athletic frame at 6 feet, 178 pounds, and his a high-level defender up the middle. He has a short arm action from an over-the-top slot and makes accurate throws with carry. His actions are athletic and he plays through the ball with soft hands, quick footwork and a clean exchange to go with good body control.
