The 2017 Overall Rankings are in the process of being updated so to give you a little taste, here are some sophomores that will be making a climb.

Glenn Albanese, RHP, Batavia HS, IL
Albanese is physically advanced at 6-foot-5, 215 pounds and looks to be one of the premier 2017 prospects in Illinois. He recently sat 89-90 mph in a winter bullpen session, working from a high-3/4 slot. He stays tall and works downhill well. His changeup shows excellent promise, sitting 81-82. He throws it aggressively and it has good action to his arm side. The breaking ball is a work in progress and lacks depth, but he added power it to this winter and it sits 74-77.
