Top-10 Profiles of 2020: No. 7 Colin Dailey

Diego Solares
Staff Writer

As the year starts to unwind, our staff will start to highlight the top-10 most viewed profiles from 2020 – starting at 10 and counting down.

Today we’ll take a look at Cedarburg’s Colin Dailey, ranked No. 48 overall in Wisconsin’s senior class. Dailey has one of the most well-rounded toolsets in his class, boasting above-average raw power harnessed within a compact stroke and an arm that’s topped out at 92 mph across the diamond. That arm strength translates to the mound as well, as we saw Dailey run his fastball up to 87 mph at our Fox Cities Preseason I.D. in March.

Dailey's profile was busy in 2020, as he broke out early in the year at that Appleton area event and remained one of the more interesting uncommitted players in the state since. He recently joined several other 2021 Wisconsin prospects in committing to Division-I inaugurate, the University of St. Thomas. We’re eager to check in on Dailey in a few years and check in how this type of raw skills translates to the next level.
