Pete Schuler, the No. 1-ranked 2015 prospect in Wisconsin, has verbally committed to Kent State. The 6-foot-3, 180-pound left-handed hitting catcher from Kenosha St. Joseph HS was one of the most coveted prospects in the Midwest.
Ranked No. 24 in the overall 2015 rankings, Schuler showed especially well for Team Wisconsin at the Midwest Future Games in August. Schuler showcased consistent 1.97-2.00 pop times, measuring 79 mph from the crouch. Offensively, he has extremely loose, easy hands at the plate with plenty of bat speed.
Schuler is the third member of Team Wisconsin from the Midwest Future Games to commit already, joining SS Alex Henwood (Nebraska) and RHP Brendan Meissner (Illinois).

Aaron Mack, a 2014 left-handed hitting catcher from Edgewood HS, has committed to Newman University. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Mack is currently ranked No. 34 in Wisconsin’s 2014 class.
