Now that the 2016 rankings have been revamped, it’s on to the 2017 class. Little has changed with this group since the PBR Future Games however some have raised their stock this fall and we’ve come across new prospects in the process.
The top 10 saw very little changes outside of putting college commitments next to their name. All of the top five are now verbally committed, as pitchers Nathan Burns (West Bend West), Jacob Lindemann (Burlington), Ben Dragani (Catholic Memorial), and Troy Hickey (Wilmot) named their schools in the last six weeks or so.
RANK | NAME | STATE | SCHOOL | CLASS | POS | COMMITMENT |

3 | Jacob Lindemann | WI | Burlington | 2017 | RHP | Wichita State |

This go around the rankings have been expanded from 75 to 85 as we’ve come across a few new prospects along the way. 10 names were added to the rankings led by southpaw John Vanderploeg (Sheboygan Falls), a 6-foot-2 lefty with an 82-84 mph fastball. We’ll touch more on the new additions later this week.
Now that the state rankings are being updated across our coverage area, look for the 2017 overall rankings to be updated soon to see how well this class fairs in the overall landscape.
