Wisconsin Class of 2015 Rankings Updated and Expanded

After wrapping up our final event before the spring baseball season, the Madison and Milwaukee Preseason I.D.’s unveiled a ton of talent to add to the Class of 2015 rankings. We’ve added 25 new names to the rankings expanding the total from 75 to 100. Of the 25 additional prospects nine made the top 50 in the state. The Class of 2015 is shaping up to be even better than what we originally thought with a huge log jam of players in the top 40 that have the ability to play at a high level. 

Here's a look at how everything shakes down.

At the top of the list, C Pete Schuler (St. Joseph) and RHP Bryant Jordan (Home School) held on to the top two spots but OF Doran Turchin (Oak Creek)climbed two spots to No. 3 after his performance this winter capped by his 94 mph arm at the Milwaukee Preseason I.D. RHP’s Dustin Landers (Kaukauna) and Mitchel Makarewicz (Oak Creek) both climbed three spots, putting Makarewicz in the top 10. Left handed hitting middle infielder Cade Bunnell (Stoughton) showed vast physical improvements adding speed and strength moving him into the final spot of the top 10.

RHP Alex Lee (SPASH) tops the list of newcomers cracking the top 10 with his 86-88 mph fastball and aggressive secondary pitches. Pitchers dominated the new additions with three new arms in the top 20. Along with Lee, RHP Logan McShane (Wisconsin Lutheran), RHP Riley Wikel (Muskego) and RHP Ty Ramirez (Greendale) all made significant impacts on the updated rankings.

C Marshall Gilbert (Westosha Central) and SS McCauley Cox (Janesville Craig) were the biggest risers in the class. Both jumped into the top 20 climbing over 20 spots each.

OF Nate Anderson (Mukwonago), INF Trevor Cho (Homestead) and INF Drake Daniels (Cedarburg) also made significant jumps into the top 40.
