Northern Wisconsin Fall ID: Preview
October 18, 2024
This Sunday, October 20th, the Prep Baseball Wisconsin team is hosting the Northern Wisconsin Fall ID at Impact Sports Academy in De Pere, Wis. This is an open event for all high school classes (2025-28), and gives our staff an ample look at the area's top players.
For a closer look at the showcase details and the technologies we'll have on-site to assist our in-person evaluation for all in attendance, click here. For a complete look at those registered to attend this event, view the most up-to-date version of the roster by clicking here.
EVENT HISTORY
This will be our second time hosting the event, and it's provided us a look at prominent players in the area who've later gone on to receive invitations to select events, like the newly annual Wisconsin State Games. Among the players in attendance at this event in 2023, there are already 7 commitments among them.
We're looking forward to checking in on the next crop of talent from this event to earn next-level attention in the coming weeks, months, and years.
ROSTER PREVIEW
A couple players of note that will be in attendance on Sunday are OF/3B Gavin Sawyer (Slinger, 2026) and LHP/OF Mark Susa (Hudson, 2027).
Sawyer, who is currently ranked No. 135 in the Badger State, impressed our staff in the spring at the Madison Preseason ID where he had a polished round of batting practice.
Susa, currently ranked No. 26 in Wisconsin for the '27 class, was a standout this summer at The Rock where he punched out nine batters in one particular outing showing advanced feel for a fastball/slider mix.
