On Oct. 6, the PB Wisconsin scouting staff traveled to STIKS Academy in Waukesha, Wis., to host the annual Southern Wisconsin Fall ID event. This open showcase helped introduce us to some need-to-know players in the state that we’d not yet seen before, as well as provided us with updated looks at players who’ve earned our attention in the past.

Below is a look at all of the pitchers from the event with a few standouts that deserve a mention.

TOP PITCHERS

1. Jacob Madlung, Arrowhead (WI), 2028
Positional Profile: RHP/3B
Body: 6-2, 180-pounds. Long levers, wiry, more size and strength coming.
Delivery: Long delivery, upper and lower body sync'd, stays through catcher, full arm path.
Arm Action: RH. Lower 3/4 slot, loose and fluid.
FB: T80, 79-80 mph. Heavy sink, in the zone, arm side run, hard to square up. T2083, 2022 average rpm.
CB: 67-69 mph. Deceptive out of hand, great feel, sweeper. T2087, 2021 average rpm.
SL: 70-73 mph. Tighter and firmer than curveball, same shape as curveball. T2072, 2058 average rpm.

2. Bradley McCarthy, Badger (WI), 2026

Body: 6-1, 180-pounds. Athletic build with more projection coming.
Delivery: Hybrid delivery, athletic, high leg kick works online to home.
Arm Action: RH. Clean, whippy, short arm action, 3/4 slot.

4. Terek Isely, Mount Horeb (WI), 2026

Body: 6-3, 183-pounds. Long levers, wiry, more size and strength coming.
Delivery: Simple, methodical tempo, slight drop and drive, lands online to the plate.
Arm Action: RH. Loose and fluid, 3/4 slot clean.
FB: T80, 75-79 mph. Sinking action, with run. T2132, 2075 average rpm.
