Another athletic outfielder that showed well on the day. Ran a sub 7.0 60 yard dash and showed big-time pop off the bat with a 98 mph exit velo off of the tee. The approach at the plate is simple and there’s not a lot of wasted action. Loved how the hands got back to the launch position in the swing path was level. There is some strength in the hands. Did a nice job with the lower half in the swing. The outfield skills are very solid with nice feet before and after the catch. The ball comes out of the hand well and he does a nice job of using his core strength in his throws.
9.23.18- showed some arm strength from the OF with quick hand speed and tracked balls well during drills. Showed some juice at the plate with an 85 mph exit velocity from a small leg kick approach and a level bat path. On the mound, his fastball was mid 70’s but was clean mechanically and will be an arm to watch in the 2022 class.
