6-foot-1, 190-pound athletic frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 87 mph. Setup consists of a smooth load and balanced stance. Had efficient bat speed. He Barreled up multiple balls with some loud contact. Line drive approach. Behind the plate, had a pop time of 2.00-2.17, his best recorded throw to second was clocked at 70 mph; has sure hands, quick feet and a clean exchange. Some flexibility and narrow setup.Had consistent accuracy to the bag with a consistent arm action. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.49.

Strong, physical backstop that showed a definite middle/oppo approach during BP. Stayed on some balls very well and drove balls to the back side gap. Really open stance with nice rhythm in the hands with slight tilt in the bat path. Consistent line drives during BP. Defensively, the set up is solid and the transfer is very quick with solid footwork. Throws to the 2B bag were accurate and the pop times (2.11- 2.14) were consistent and will only get better with increased arm strength. The fundamentals are already there

Does a nice job with weight distribution at the plate which led to a synched up swing. Did a nice job keeping the barrel through the zone with a flat barrel path, staying on the ball through the hitting zone. Hands worked with a short, simple path. Solid actions behind the plate and did a nice job of expanding the plate when receiving pitches on the outer half. Fluid feet. Very consistent throws to 2B with little wasted action. Athletic ‘21 with nice upside.
