Athletic SS that has some flair to his game. The arm works well across the diamond as he was 83 mph with accurate throws to the bag. Really fluid with the glove and shows nimbleness with the feet. Did a nice job working his momentum through his throws. At the plate, Baker was 89 mph off the tee and shows a short, compact swing with plenty of quickness in the hands and bat speed. The ball came off the bat loudly and he showed a consistent middle of the field line drive approach.

Athletic MIF that has some flare to his game. His pre fielding footwork is superb and the arm strength is no question. The transfer is quick and he showed nice glove work out in front of him. Plays very low to the ground. At the plate, there is some strength in the hands and he does a nice job of staying short with the hands and barrel. Slightly open, leg kick approach with definite tilt in the swing path which created carry off of the bat. Strength across his game is stronger than you may think. Like this athletic ‘21 MIF.

9.23.18- Stood out during defensive drills staying low on ground balls and plays with some smooth and confident hands. The arm works as he showed strength across the diamond at 82 mph (tied for event best). Athletic with good feet. Quite possibly the best defender on the day. At the plate, he showed an open stance with a nice steady load of the hands and some tilt in his swing. Has some pull side pop and creates some backspin off the bat. A definite 2021 to follow
