6/25/20

6-foot-1, 178-pound athletic frame. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.09. Started in a quiet stance with a smooth load, then used a short stride to initiate his swing. Had flat swing plane and had good extension on his finish. He found multiple barrels through his rounds. Gap to gap approach. Scott's 92 mph exit velocity showed his ability to drive the ball with power. In the infield, displayed a velocity of 82 mph; has consistent hands and a clean exchange. Used a consistent arm action and an-over-the-top slot. On the mound, had a loose arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. Up-tempo type pitcher and shows max effort. Sat with his fastball at 81-83 mph and topped out at 84 mph; shows very consistent command. Had late action and very consistent command on his 12/6 curveball (66-67). His changeup (76-77) has fading action and arm side control. Does a nice job mixing pitches and keeping the same arm action arm speed.

6/12/19

Solid fundamentals on this 2021 grad who impressed with the glove. Really attacks the baseball and stays through the throw. The arm strength is nice and he showed some flexibility in the hips. Showed an inside out approach at the plate from a narrow square stance with the feet. The bat path was flat and he looked like a prototypical 2 hole type hitter.
