4/15/15 Fenter is a 6-foot-1, 210-pound right-hander with a large frame and a thick build. He attacked the strike zone with a fastball that sat 92-94 mph and touched 96 mph in the 5 innings he pitched. He showed average command of a sharp slider 79-82 mph, which was a big reason for the 10 strike outs he had on the day. If there was one point of weakness in his game it was holding runners and slowing down the run game as North Little Rock HS stole 7 bases. Overall the Mississippi State commit has electric stuff and is showing more command.
8/16/14 - The 6-foot-1, 200-pound Mississippi State recruit sealed the victory for the American Team by pitching two scoreless innings in the eighth and ninth. Fenter attacks hitters aggressively with his low-90s fastball. In the first inning, he sat predominately 92 with every fastball, and was 91-92 in his second inning of work with late life through the zone. He also throws his 78-79 mph with conviction, though with erratic command. In warmups, he also flashed a cutter, but didn’t throw it in the game.
