Andrew Jacobs:
Intriguing arm with a slender frame at 6’1”, 150. Loose delivery with minimal effort and efficient movements. Gains some ground and releases from a low ¾ arm slot. Uses a three pitch mix (slider, changeup). Fastball has above average movement with good spin (2,476 max spin rate), mostly armside with some vertical ride. Slider has potential to tunnel off of the fastball effectively, also a high spin and movement pitch (2,405 max spin rate). Change-up kills spin effectively and works off of the fastball. With room to add strength to the frame, Jacobs has even more room to grow into a power arm.
