Strong, physical athlete with explosive traits and a high-energy presence on the field. Ball delivered early for the Huskies with a sharp RBI single in the first, showing off his ability to impact the game offensively from the jump. The strength plays in the box with a quick, compact swing, though he projects for even more efficiency and power as he continues to refine his hand positioning and sequencing. There’s still some streakiness in the bat, but when he’s locked in, the ball jumps off the barrel. Defensively, he shows a good arm from the outfield with carry and consistent accuracy. A high upside player who’s already committed to Arizona, Ball has the raw tools and energy to be a dynamic presence as he rounds out his offensive approach.

Ball is another player who’s physicality stood out this weekend, standing at 6-foot-1, 205-pounds. Started his day running a 7.09 60-yard dash and worked up to 83mph from the outfield. The Arizona commit creates a lot of bat speed (72.9mph avg, 2nd best at event) and was back spinning the ball throughout his round with a top exit velocity of 95.1mph. The right-handed bat was the most impactful tool this weekend from Ball and no doubt looked the part of a top 10 prospect in Arizona.
