10/14/18 - 6-foot-0, 180-pound frame. Simply looking at Peery’s velocity numbers doesn’t paint an accurate picture as he works from a below sidearm slot in the low-80's with heavy sink. Perry also shows a frisbee slider in the low-70's and could be an absolute nightmare for right-handed hitters coming out of the bullpen. There’s no question he can contribute at the next level in the right role. Shows extremely advanced feel for low slot as a high school junior.

6/5/18 - 5-foot-11, 184-pound frame. Worked out as a two-way player in this event. Offensively, Peery showed an aggressive swing that produced hard contact in the air during his round of BP; 87 mph exit velocity. Defensively profiles as a corner infielder. Looked comfortable positioning his body and playing through balls on the infield; 79 mph infield velocity. Peery continues to impress with his abilities on the mound as a low slotted sidewinder. Advanced feel all the way around. Generates impressive sink on his fastball that ranged from 71-75 mph. Have seen up to 80 mph in the past from the ground ball machine. Change up ranged from 65-67 mph and should help neutralize platoon splits at the next level giving him an effective weapon against LHH’s. Slider flashed hard break and tight rotation at 66-69 mph. Will be a good addition to someone’s pen at the next level.

1/28/18 - 5-foot-11, 184-pound frame. Gave hitters fits during his inning of work. Pounding the zone with his heavy 80 mph fastball, nobody could square up the groundball machine. Peery’s arm is loose and whippy working from a slot between sidearm and submarine. His 67-69 mph slider has consistent rotation and sharp break, something you don't often see from young sidearm pitchers. Also showed the ability to mix in a 69-70 mph changeup that will be a weapon against LHH. There is very little doubt Peery will get outs at the next level for whatever program gives him an opportunity.
