6/10/20

Drafted 23rd overall by the Cleveland Indians in the 2020 MLB Draft.

6/28/19

Made two very nice plays on defense. He charged a slow chopper and made a throw on the run and then went in the hole to make a sliding backhand catch before hopping to his feet and making a strong throw for an out.

8/13/18

Uncommitted, Tucker is a wiry-thin, 6-foot-1, 165-pounder, and packs a punch at the plate where he showcases twitchy-hands and a flat path through the zone. The ball jumped off his bat from gap to gap with line drives being sprayed with higher exit velocity than expected from a frame that is still developing strength.

3/15/18 - Having always shown the skills and actions of an elite prospect, Tucker's body and athleticism are starting to catch up to his always advanced skill set. On this day he easily made range plays to both sides at SS, showing enough arm to likely stick at SS. Offensively the improvements were event more noticeable as he's begun to add strength to his frame and recorded multiple extra base hits. Tucker show a relaxed, easy rhythm in the box and very loose wrists that make him easy to dream on offensively. While it's not likely Tucker is ever a plus runner, it's easy to see it becoming an average tool when he finishes growing into his body.

10/5/17 - 5-foot-11 160-pounds. The sophomore makes everything he does on the baseball field look easy. Possessing soft hands and advanced actions, Tucker is already a very solid defender at SS with a chance to get even better as he matures and becomes more athletic. Offensively he has very loose wrists that produce excellent bat speed for his age. There’s tons of room left for physical development and as a senior we could be looking at an elite level national prospect.
