Arm Action: LH. Over the top HTQ slot
FB: T83, 82-83 mph. FB had life, worked down in the zone for strikes. T1878, 1817 average rpm.
CB: 69-71 mph. Threw heavy for strikes, showed he can throw a get over breaking ball for strikes and swing and miss down. T1939, 1840 average rpm.
CH: 75-77 mph. Good sink, threw for strikes, good out pitch T1653, 1558 average rpm.
Positional Profile: OF/LHP
Body: 5-10, 160-pounds.
Hits: SH. Wide base, hands are in good position just inside shoulder width, light lift load. Path tended to work slightly around the ball and uphill, worked a heavy line drive and fly ball profile to the pull side.
Power: 86 max exit velocity, averaged 73.5 MPH. 306' max distance.
Arm: LH. OF-82 mph. Arm works at a HTQ slot with very athletic mechanics produced good flight and accurate throws.
Defense: (OF) Very athletic getting to the ball with clean glove exchange to throw. feet are quick side to side and made good transitions on bad hops.
Run: 7.31 runner in the 60.

5-foot-10, 160-pound, Brito was one of the standouts at this past weekend’s Tucson Open. The two-way prospect impressed on the mound showing a loose short arm and get’s down the mound well. Brito had a max FB velo of 83 mph that worked for heavy strikes at the bottom of the zone. Brito showed a sweepy slider that broke well to his glove side and worked at the bottom of the zone. At the plate Brito showed a simple compact swing that showed some pop to the pull side. If Brito can keep his hands inside it will benefit him moving forward. Brito handled the ball out over the plate best. We look forward to following Brito as he goes into his sophomore season at Tucson Magnet.
