2022 OF Kolby Felix (Liberty)- 5-foot-10, 170-pounds, large build, strong well-defined body, present athleticism. Sturdy upright base, squared stance, uses knee turn trigger, keeping strong back leg. Small load, barrel works backwards as he starts downward move. Strong inverted swing with present bat speed, uses hands to accelerate the barrel. Middle of the field approach, likes the low pitch, 86.69mph exit velocity on the day with more in the tank, mostly LD/FB contact with some side spin. Strong arm with carry at 89mph. Athletic clean footwork, cut off a ball in the RCF gap in our live game action, throwing out runner. Has some tools that should be followed.
5-foot-9 165-pounds, lean build with broad shoulders, looks bigger than what he's listed at. Some present strength & athleticism. Ran a 7.14 60-yard dash. Sets up in a semi narrow base with knees inside his toes. Loads into the back hip with a small leg lift. Good bat speed, slowly accelerating his barrel into the hitting zone with varying swing plane. Mid/ oppo approach with some hard contact at 90mph exit velocity. Good athleticism in the OF with confident actions, naturally strong arm with more arm velocity present with added intensity. 82mph arm strength with carry. High upside OF prospect.
Large lean build at 5’9” 165lbs, more physical body with good strength in legs, quiet relaxed approach to hitting, wider squared base with small & simple knee turn trigger, looks to drive the baseball, hard contact at 87mph, effortless 87mph arm strength with lower intensity from the OF, good runner at 6.9 60 yard dash, above average strength combined with some athleticism makes him a good follow going forward.
