Uses a direct stride and hits from a strong base. Bat path has some loft to it. Majority of contact was in the air which plays to his profile. Best swings were to the middle of the field, ability to drive balls to gaps. Spins off balls on the inner half on occasion creating top spin.
Power: 91.6 max exit velocity, averaged 78.8 mph. 328’ max distance. Power potential, with added athleticism we will see more bat speed and adjustability.
Arm: RH. C - 71 mph. Throws from a 3/4 slot. Loses his posture slightly, not allowing himself to throw from best position. Ball has 4 seam flight but misses were up the line.
Defense: 2.02-2.17 pop times. Strong frame for the position. Receives the ball well, lacks mobility behind the plate.
Run: 8.50 runner in the 60.
