Beginning stages of switch-hitting, natural right-handed hitter where he has more pop. Squared base, slightly spread out stance, weight in back leg, uses small leg lift with some rhythm. Quiet hands, loads to the back shoulder with a slight upright barrel. Strong swing with some present bat speed, downward entry, quick out of the zone. Pull-approach with some hard contact, 89.62mph exit velocity. Long, slow-twitch movements behind the plate, tight body. Pops up on throws with limited momentum to the bag, average arm strength, 2.11-2.27 pop times. Quiet glove, sticks pitches. Also worked out at 1B where he might project better in future. Ran an 8.01 60-yard dash, slow-tempo feet, field the ball under the body with two hands, sitting on heels with bent knee & eyes down.
