Uncommitted ‘24 RHP Jack Thompson put together one of the top pitching performances for BC at the Canada Cup with a complete-game shutout against Nova Scotia. Strong, proportionate frame at 5-foot-11, 185-pounds and was pounding the zone with a three-pitch mix that helped him go seven innings, allowing just two baserunners on two hits and no walks with six strikeouts. The fastball sits in the mid 80s and he pairs with a slider and changeup. Was comfortable throwing the secondary stuff in any count but was consistently working ahead, allowing him to keep hitters guessing.
