One of the more physical 2023's in the class, Palmers' size and long levers translated to his swing nicely. Got useful extension on all his swings, and his slightly upwards bat path and sudden moves produced some excellent results in BP. Sooth actions on the infield with good hands. Will be a nice fit at 3B, and with improvements to his foot speed and arm action could be there for the long run. One of the younger players at the event is one to follow throughout the next couple of years, as Palmer has the physical tools to build from and improve.
As a Pitcher, Palmer is well-built at 6'2 and almost 200, Palmer has noticeably polished mechanics and the size and makeup to develop into a strong arm in the future. Fastball sat 78-80, and the breaking ball had some excellent, sweeping shape to it, a pitch that Palmer located well in his pen. Changeup had good arm-side movement to it and maintained good arm speed while throwing it. Lots to dream about here.
