Got our first look at Orr since last summer at the 2022 ProCase and there’s alot to like with his game on the mound. Standing 6-foot-3, 195-pounds, Orr attacks with a 86-88 mph FB working downhill that got swing and miss and weak contact. The SL still needs some development, but there’s shape to it with late, sharp action that when landed, was an effective pitch. One of BC’s top uncommitted talents, Orr should be a guy to have on your radar.
8/17/22
Orr, 6-foot-2, 185-pounds, was 1 of 2 prospects from BC that attended our Preseason ProCase in Oakville, ON. The athletic body plays in the box and in the field, where he moves well for his size. In the box, he has the ability to hit to all fields with some juice. He uses a toe-tap for timing and is able to get his hands into a launch position with a flat bat path through the zone. In the field, he has clean hands and shows the ability to make the difficult play. Orr is an intriguing prospect out of BC that stood out for Team BC and the Canada Games last week, as well.
