Body: 6-0, 175-pounds. Athletic build that is well proportioned.
Hit: RHH. Has a wider stance with knees pinched and active hands. Utilizes a leg kick trigger while hands stay low. Some present bat speed and bat works flat through the zone. Pull side approach.
Power: 91 mph exit velocity from the tee. Gap to gap line-drive power. Power comes when he’s out in front and extended.
Arm: OF - 87 mph. Throws out of the H 3/4 slot. Comes out clean with life and carry. Most throws were accurate and online.
Defense: Solid defensive movements. Gets his feet under him and well-positioned to make throws. Works through the ball and uses his momentum.
Run: 6.82 runner in the 60.
1/04/20
Preseason All-State. Athletic proportional build with room for more in his current 5-foot-11 170 pound frame. Possess natural speed with good running mechanics and showed that during the 60-yard dash when he clocked 6.92 seconds. Offensively loads with a full leg kick and body coil, dropping his hands in the process before planting and extending to his contact point. Lots of moving parts that rely heavily on timing and extension to make the swing work. Exit velocity of 82 mph was his personal best. Displayed soft hands with ease both in the outfield and infield while fielding. Mechanically the fielding mechanics are solid but took his time and was too slow to the ball. Topped at 87 mph from the outfield on his final throw to home and topped at 77 mph on his final throw from shortstop. Smooth utility player that shows some desirable skills and has the athleticism to make necessary adjustments in order to make the next step.
