ACG Tryout - Fundamentally sound fielder with soft hands and good range. Did notice that some of his throws sailed due to his body moving faster than his arm at times. Displayed great bat to ball ability. Stands deep in his legs with his hands held high. Ran a 7.32 second 60 and threw 81 mph across the infield.
6/12/22
Bay Area World Series 2022 - Uncommitted; Lean wiry strength on average size body, good baseball player with feel for the game both in the field and at the plate, didn't run 60 due to lingering lower body thing but didn't happer him in games, 81 mph arm across diamond, outstanding fielding fundamentals and skills, soft glove with range that plays up with his instincts, outstanding bat control at plate and some gap pop to punish pitchers who assume his body type isn't able to make impact contact, uses all fields and particular adept with driving ball to RCF, has a knack for the RBI, no strikeouts in 7 plate appearances and lots of good contact even if didn't gather as many hits as he likely deserved, 86.1 max EV, 70% sweet spot %, strength will only enhance all he can do, poised to emerge in spring 2023 as one of the better baseball players in 2024 class in N CA up the middle.
6/06/21
Bay Area World Series Underclass (6/4/21-6/6/21)
Offensive notes: High back elbow, high hands using slight coil and kick before getting backside to drive swing. Loose and easy swing with compact barrel keeping middle approach and ability to control barrel to the gaps. As he matures the gap carry should increase. 60-yard - 7.87 / EV mph - 79
Defensive notes: Quick over fast and utilized that well early in the actions. Funneled well and utilized glove taps to stay on time. Loose arm and able to keep it on the bag. More strength/maturity could see big jumps in range and arm speed. MIF mph - 70
Pitching notes: Athletic delivery with high front knee and loose arm. Loaded the shoulder well with slight tuck and ability to unload out front. FB armside flashing angle. CB overhand with small drop at the plate. CHG first pitch with bottom. Short viewing but some things that are able to make progression. FB 71-75 / CB 65 / CHG 69
