Bay Area World Series 2022: Stat Leaders

LATHROP, CALIF. - Bay Area World Series (BAWS) 2022 was held once again at Islanders Field in Lathrop (CA). There were nearly 140 players in attendance over the three days and a lot of data and stats were gathered. This was year 19 for BAWS and we look forward to covering the two decade anniversary of this event in 2023.

Players ran a 60, threw from their positions, took BP, and then each position player competed in three games, where the pitchers' velocities for their various pitches were recorded using TrackMan.

One round, generally 10 or so swings, velo recorded by TrackMan B1 unit

Infield Velocity (SS/3B/1B)

Each throwing from their primary position, velocities gathered with Stalker Sport II

Outfield Velocity

Making throws from RF to 3B (2) and Home (2), velocities gathered with Stalker Sport II

Catcher Velocity

Popping from the crouch position, Stalker II set on out-bound from behind catcher

Pop Times

Each made 4 pop throws down to 2nd base
