A fastball with hop has a flat approach angle and visually jumps through the zone. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher swing and miss average. Hop+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Sink+
A fastball with sink has low backspin and drops through the strike zone. When thrown down in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher ground ball percentage and lower launch angle. Sink+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Rise+
A fastball with rise has a high percentage of backspin. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher fly ball percentage. Rise+ of 100 is MLB average

Uncommitted (recently reopened his recruitment); At 6-foot-6, 225-pounds, used his long and lean build to produce good numbers during the showcase while being able to show off some raw power and versatility on the field.
60 yd: With a good start and staying low throw start, he stayed in line during the 60, using his long body to get a time of 6.95
3B Def: Taking reps at 3B, with a wide setup arms and glove out ready for the ball to be hit. Takes the one hop and reacts, stays low to the ball and works back up to the middle of his body for transfer while showing off 87 mph across the field. With a short arm release, he was able to use different arm angles to second and on the slow roller.
Hitting: With a tall and shoulder width apart, was able to get leverage with his tall build. Hands starting in a good hitting position to attack the ball from the inside. Quick toe tap and load he was able to elevate baseball and drive them to all fields. An exit velo of 99 mph, he showed off some ample power to pull-side.
Summary: With still more room to fill out, was able to use his body in an athletic manner to take ground balls and hit baseballs hard. Highly projectable with a very tall ceiling, both on the mound and at the plate.
