Positional Profile: P/2B
Body: 5-10, 150-pounds. Young lean lithe body type, athletic proportions.
Delivery: Athletic delivery with some creativeness, kicks leg out prior to loose athletic lift, cross body stride, lands with stability, finishes well.
Arm Action: RH. Fairly compact arm action, loose arm, slight elbow inversion in two-piece backside, high-3/4 slot.
FB: T74, 71-73 mph. Lost quite a bit to the glove side, given his present size and strength the spin rate is encouraging for future gains, creates considerable movement.
CB: 61-63 mph. Showed feel for dropping into the zone, can start at RHH front hip, can start bats and slip off the barrel.
CH: 64-65 mph. Works well on arm side, big run, similar release to FB look, certainly can develop into usable third pitch.
Defense: Starts low and plays below ball, nice first step, patterns feet well to fielding position, took extra step or two to get to release.
Arm: RH. INF - 68 mph. Short arm action, 2B type arm stroke, can throw on move.
Hit: RHH. Medium feet width, barrel behind head early, slight crouch, athletic set up, hang lift to stride, starts slightly open, high back elbow load, swings with balance. Slight uphill attack angle, stays connected, direct to ball, works inside, consistent swing plane, controls barrel well, spray type hitter, 62.5% line drives, 64% on plane efficiency.
