7-25-17

5-10, 150 pounds. Bats and throws right. Cannot ignore the 6.6 60 time he ran off a coaches watch, the fastest at the event, and is the second time we have had him at 6.6 from previous events.
He's short to the ball with his hands but gets good extension through the baseball. Sprays the ball around the field. Was 2 for 2 on the day in the game. Was not able to attend day 2 due to a a game conflict. Last event threw 83 mph from OF. In the outfield has a lot of range, and throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with accuracy. Committed to University of Northern Colorado right after the event.

8-6-16
5-foot-9, 145 pounds. Bats and throws right. Heinze ran an impressive laser timed 6.6 60, the fastest of the day. Heinze also showed plus defensive skills in the outfield throwing 83 mph, and using that speed to show impressive range. At the plate Heinze drove a ball deep to left center and turned it into a 2-run triple, taking 10.75 seconds to get to 3rd. At the plate has a simple tall stance, short stride, hands start a little low, and a swing that wants to produce line drive/hard ground ball contact. He's short to the ball with his hands but gets good extension through the baseball. In the outfield has a lot of range, and throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with accuracy.
