During batting practice hit two off the wall and was only player to hit home run on the big Cherry Creek field. When he learns to keep hands back on off-speed during game like he does during batting practice power numbers and batting average will jump. Defensively, has a plus frame for first base and shows soft hands with ability to pick balls out of dirt. Mallon threw 77 mph across the diamond from first to third.  Ran a 7.41 60.

Mallon anchors the line up in the 5 hole for the PBR Fall Team.  Against Diamond Club Mallon had a big 2 out 2 run double in the top of the third inning.  In the field he is athletic on balls in the hole and shows soft hands and good feet around the bag.
