Andrew Salbinski: 3B/1B, (2022) Valley Regional, CT. 6-foot-1, 170-pound solid build. Solid at the plate, Salbinski had a max exit velocity of 86 mph. (62.34 mph bat speed average). (20.00 mph hand speed average). Begins in a wide stance with a controlled load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed was developing, showed a long flat swing plane and good extension on his finish. Barreled up some balls with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Solid while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 82 mph; showed soft hands, developing feet, and a clean exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing. Used a high ¾ slot with a loose arm action while showing consistent accuracy to the bag. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.2.

Hit: (LHH) Solid. Began in a wide stance with a controlled load, then used a short stride. Developing bat speed. Good extension on his finish, long flat swing. Gap to gap approach. 

Power: 86 mph exit velocity, average 78.64 mph. 62.34 mph bat speed average. 20.00 mph hand speed average.

Defense:  (IF) Soft hands, developing footwork, clean exchange. Solid.  Movements laterally were developing and he fields the ball out front. 

Arm: 82 mph infield velocity. Loose arm action, high ¾ slot, consistent accuracy. 

Speed: 7.20 (60-yard).

6-foot-1, 168-pound lean, athletic, looks to be an above average athlete. Above average at the plate, the left-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 92 mph. Begins in a tall balanced stance with a slow controlled load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed was electric, displayed an upward simple swing plane and good extension on his finish. Barreled up multiple balls with tons of loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Above average while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 80 mph; shows soft hands, a twitchy exchange, and athletic quick feet. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a high ¾ slot and a short arm action. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.19.
