Carter Semplenski: OF/RHP, (2026) Immaculate, CT. 6-foot-1, 135-pound lean long build. Projectable at the plate, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 80 mph. (65.9 mph bat speed average). (21.5 mph hand speed average). Began in a tall athletic stance with a smooth rhythmic load, then used a controlled stride. Has a loose level swing plane, quick bat speed and good extension on his finish. He created loud contact and found multiple barrels. Gap to gap line drive approach. Above average from the outfield, his best throws to the bases were registered at 71 mph; had soft hands, athletic quick footwork, and a twitchy exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a high ¾ slot and a loose arm action. Projectable on the mound, showed quick arm speed with a high ¾ arm angle and a short loose arm action. Tall-and-fall stretch only type pitcher and uses easy effort. Showed strong balance point with in line shoulders. Lands hard with an athletic finish. Threw his fastball 67-70 mph; had sinking action and arm side command. (Max spin 2089; Avg 2008). His 2/8 slider (60-62) showed glove side command and swing and miss late action. (Max spin 2372; Avg 2225.
