Future Games

5-foot-11, 175-pound, average athletic frame, the hands and wrists have strength and fast twitch actions to them.  A switch hitting infielder, the top tool is the ability to hit from the left side. The stance is balanced feet are inline, slightly wider than shoulder width, hands are loose with some pre pitch movement to them, swing is level to up, spraying the baseball to all fields. The setup and swing from the right side, is similar, hands are loose, looks to drive it to all fields. The approach is more line drives, had a tee exit velocity of 91 mph from the left and 88 mph from the right. In game performance was good, clocked at 4.43 down the line from the left side, had good at bats made good hard contact. Defensively, feet and hands work well together, gets around the baseball, with momentum moving towards his target. The hands are soft, fields out front, with a clean crisp transfer, arm works out of a natural ¾ slot, clocked at 82 mph. Showed good feet around the bag from second base side, in starting and turning double play. The sixty yard dash was clocked at 7.38. Interesting prospect, can handle the bat projects more of a second baseman for me, could help at third as well.

Sixty-Yard- 7.38

Arm Velocity-82 MPH

3/7/17

5-foot-11, 175-pound, average athletic frame. The hands and wrists have serious strength to them, a well proportioned athletic. The hand eye coordination is very advanced, and footwork is advanced. A switching hitting infielder, swings the bat well from both sides, with the left side being further along in my opinion. From the left side, hands are loose at shoulder height, they get separated from the body, feet are slightly wider than shoulder width and slightly open. The swing path is level across the chest with a high follow through, stays on the baseball and gets through it. The approach is gap to gap, one line drive after another. The tee exit velocity was 90 mph, advanced for his age. From the right side, has an open to even stance, hands are back and get loaded up, swing is level to up, gets a little more rotational, backside could be engaged more. The approach is middle to pull. Defensively, the hands and feet work well together, are soft, fields out front, arm action is smooth, comes out of a natural ¾ slot. The arm was clocked at 82 mph, with plenty of life across the diamond. More of a second baseman, starts and feeds are smooth from the left side. High follow, has the ability to play both second and third, hits from both sides, can handle the bat.

Sixty-Yard Dash: 7.44

Exit Velocity: L-90 mph, R-84 mph

Arm Velocity: 82 mph

8/18/16

5-foot-11, 175-pound, solid average athletic frame, hands and wrists are strong and have some fast twitch to them. One of the better players in the class of 2019. A switch hitter who swings it well from both sides. The left side is a little more advanced, the stance is balanced throughout and hands are held above the shoulder. For timing has a small leg kick and gains ground with stride. The hands get back, has a small arm bar and has a little sweeper path. The swing is level to up, with a one handed finish, could get through it a little more. The tee exit velocity was 88 mph from the left and 82 mph from the right. From the right side, stance is similar, open to even and high hands with some movement with them. The backside lower half needs get involved more from the right side. In game performance was very good, collected 3 hits including a gap triple, time down the line from left side was 4.5.  Defensively, has good prep steps and footwork, fields out front and off proper foot. The arm action is clean, was clocked at 80 mph across the diamond with easy carry to it. The pro move slow roller is made with ease, can play both second and third equally well. Good looking young hitter, with advanced approach at the plate.

8/16/15
5-foot-6, 165-pounds switch hitting infielder who also pitched at the event. Showed a good feel for the game and enjoyed himself playing all day. Had a tee exit velocity of 84 from both sides of the plate and threw 76 across the infield. Is still growing so the footwork and range are still a work in progress. Right-handed he hits out of a high elbow start with a high leg lift and a clean bat path. The left-handed swing is flat and he starts out of a low hand approach, he lashed two balls in the game from the left side.  Ran a 4.77 down the line. On the mound, he has a short arm path, sitting at 74 with his fastball and good shape on a 60 mph breaking pitch. Good looking hitter for me at a very early age, of course, he needs strength and physical maturation but he has feel for the game
