5-foot-11, 145-pound, average athletic frame. The back is wide, foot size is large, has potential for added height and to fill out. A right-handed pitcher, has an easy repeatable delivery. The leg raise is athletic, has coil to it at its peak, . The arm has average length on the back side, works out of a ¾ to high ¾ slot. The fastball reached 82 mph, has a ton more in the arm. Pounded zone with it, is a strike thrower, located the fastball to both sides and was down in the zone for the most part. The breaking ball, clocked at 68-69 mph, has an 11/5 break to it, was thrown for strikes. The changeup is still a work in progress, needs to tweak the grip, arm action is clean enough to develop this pitch. High follow for me, is going to throw a ton of strikes, look for the velocity to climb.
7/18/17 5-foot-11, 155 pounds, long, lean, athletic. Projectable build more velocity in the tank as he continues physical development, which he is already in the process of doing. Showed athleticism on the mound defensively. Off the bump, DiLauro has a slight coil built into his throwing motion, crisp, clean arm action out of a high ¾ slot, helping him throw 81-83 mph with ease. Pitches downhill and the ball jumps out of his hand. The fastball gets some arm side run which will help him miss some bats. Induced weak contact with it during games with ground outs. He features a curveball as his secondary offering, which he runs between 65-68 mph and already flashes to be a plus pitch. Nice 11/5 tilt with sharp bite too it. His changeup sat between 67-70 and came in a little firm, a work in progress that should progress as he develops more feel. A high priority follow heading into his junior season.
