Jack Jacob: OF/RHP, (2026) Staples, CT. 6-foot-2, 180-pound athletic strong build. Projectable at the plate, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 87 mph. (65.5 mph bat speed average). (19.1 mph hand speed average). Started in a wide athletic stance with a rhythmic load, then used a controlled toe tap stride. Had above average bat speed, upward swing plane and high finish. During his round he produced tons of loud contact and found multiple barrels. Pull side aggressive approach. Athletic from the outfield, his best throws to the bases were registered at 82 mph; shows soft hands, athletic quick feet, and a twitchy exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were quick. Had a short quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.82. Projectable on the mound, showed quick arm speed, also used a high ¾ arm angle and a short loose arm action. Tall-and-fall up-tempo type pitcher who uses some effort. Has in line shoulder with an strong balance point. Lands hard with an athletic balanced finish. Threw his fastball 75-77 mph; showed sinking action and arm side command. (Max spin 2203; Avg 2000). Had glove side command and early slurvey action on his 1/7 curveball (63-65). (Max spin 2093; Avg 2067). His changeup (67-70) has fading action and arm side command.
