James Tobin: RHP, (2024) North Haven, CT. 6-foot-4, 180-pound lean lengthy build. Projectable on the mound, showing quick arm speed he had a high ¾ arm angle with a long loose arm action. Tall-and-fall feel type pitcher who uses easy effort. Showed strong balance point with in line shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Threw his fastball 77-79 mph; showed arm side control and sinking action with tight movement. (Max spin 2202; Avg 2077). Threw a 1/7 curveball (64-66) with glove side control and tilt late action. (Max spin 1957; Avg 1800). His changeup (72-73) shows fading swing and miss action and glove side control. Love the projection with him.
