Future Games
A right-handed hitter, had one of the better workouts, ran a 6.82 sixty-yard dash. Flashed the leather up the middle, arm at 81 mph. Took one of the better rounds of BP, stayed in the middle of the field, hard solid contact. Game 1, base hit to right-field, hung on a tough curve ball. Showed smooth actions. Games 2-3, continued to flash the leather, making it look easy. Athletic, look for his game to continue to climb.
Justin Higgins: SS/RHP, (2023) St. Luke's, CT. 6-foot-1, 175-pound athletic frame. Above average at the plate, the right-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 93 mph. (71.48 mph bat speed average). (23.45 mph hand speed average). Starts in a wide stance with a controlled load, then uses a controlled stride. Had a flat swing plane, above average bat speed and good extension on his finish. Was able to create loud contact and found multiple barrels. Gap to gap approach. Above average showed his live arm in the infield with position velocities up to 85 mph; has sure hands, a clean exchange, and athletic feet. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a loose arm action and a high slot. Recorded a time of 7.1 in the 60-yard dash. (Max spin ; Avg ).

Hit: (RHH) Above average. Started in a wide stance with a controlled load, then used a controlled stride. Above average bat speed. Good extension on his finish, flat swing. Gap to gap approach.
Power: 93 mph exit velocity, average 84.54 mph. 71.48 mph bat speed average. 23.45 mph hand speed average.
Defense: (IF) Sure hands, athletic footwork, clean exchange. Above average. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic.
Arm: 85 mph infield velocity. Loose arm action, high slot, consistent accuracy.
Speed: 7.10 (60-yard).
6-foot, 160-pound, wiry strong athletic frame, a twitchy athlete, with room for added strength. A right-handed hitting middle infielder, super smooth with glove, plus actions and flow to both sides of the field. Working/fielding out front and low to the ground, comes through the baseball. The arm action is short and clean working from a natural slot. Clocked at 82 mph, plenty of life and carry across the diamond. The starts and feeds are on time. At the plate, wider setup, slightly open, hands are relaxed and loose, level to up path, hands inside the baseball. The approach is to all fields, showing enough juice to get the baseball into the gaps, had an exit velocity of 93 mph. A firm front side, is behind the baseball on contact, with length on follow through. Big follow, look for the strength to climb.
