A right-handed pitcher, showed a power fastball, up to 89 mph. The delivery is simple and repeatable, stays over the backside. Mixed in a hard slider a 77/78 mph. Pitches downhill, with a good amount of arm side sink and run. Looks to have made a huge jump. Lots of confidence and poise on the bump, will be off the board at some point.
3/19/21
6-foot-1, 175-pound, strong, wider, athletic frame. Longer limbs, wider back, plenty of room for added weight gains. A right-handed pitcher, works off of timing and tempo, strong over the back half. The separation is clean and on time. The arm action is long and clean on the backside, more of bottom to top path. The arm works out of a higher 3/4 slot, pitches downhill, lives in bottom part of the zone. The fastball is heavy, action to arm side, clocked at 87 mph. Looks to be very tough on right-handed hitters. The slider reached 69 mph, could use more fastball, hand speed. Threw two off speeds-pitches for strikes, changeup has fade action to it, also mixed in a hard splitter at 74 mph. Love the projection on this one.
10/14/20
6-foot-,165-pound, average athletic frame, longer limbs, wider back, with room for added weight gains. A right-handed pitcher, who threw the baseball very well at this event. The delivery is sound, under control, repeats it without much effort, hands start and stay at mid section. Strong on post leg, riding it out, lands inline with length. The arm action is longer on the backside, working from a 3/4 to higher 3/4 slot. The fastball comes out of the hand with ease, reaching 85 mph, throwing a heavy ball. The breaking ball, is more slider, thrown with velocity, late break with depth, could have more fastball hand speed. Mixed in a splitter, down action, tumbling to arm side, thrown at 72 mph as well. All three pitches working out of the same slot. Look for velocity to continue to climb, good looking arm in the 2023 class.
