7/28/20

6-foot, 170-pound right-handed hitting corner infielder/outfielder. He ran a 6.97 sixty at the event. The approach in the infield is solid, the hands are soft and he moves athletically. I would like to see his feet a bit more active during the fielding process. The arm has strength to it, he threw 83 mph across the diamond. The bat has an exit velocity of 98 mph. The setup is wide in base, knees bent and he uses a knee to knee approach on the bottom half. The hands are strong and maneuvers the barrel very well. The path is flat and strong to contact. I think he is really going to hit at the college level. I do believe he may need a position switch in college to first base or corner outfielder. The bat, for me, can be a game influencer.

Exit Velocity- 98 mph

6-foot, 170-pound right-handed hitting infielder. He continues to win me over as he gets better every time. I am not sure why someone has jumped on him yet as the bat has a chance to be a difference makes. He ran a 6.91 sixty at the event. The approach in the infield is solid and reliable. He threw 82 mph across the diamond. His feet are good and his throws are accurate. He is the prototype for an offensive second baseman. The bat has an exit velocity of 98 mph. The setup is spread out with the bottom half and he stays in his legs. The path is a tick long and strong, leading to power potential down the road. The hands are very good. He is an excellent prospect for me

INF Velocity- 82 mph

7/24/19

6-foot, 160-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder. Continues to develop well and the frame is starting to fill out. Ran a 4.62 home to first at the workout. The glove is solid in the field, the feet need to remain active during the fielding process. More than likely an offensive second baseman and a corner guy. Threw 80 mph across the diamond. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 95 mph. The setup is wide in base, knees flexed into a crouch. The bat has minimal wrap to it. The hands maneuver the barrel head with serious bat speed. There is effort in the swing but he gets the barrel head through the ball. Uses a 1-handed finish after contact. Trending up with his play.

Tee Exit Velocity- 95 mph
INF Velocity- 80 mph

6/19/19

6-foot,1 160-pound right-handed hitting infielder. Continues to develop nicely with his game. Ran a 7.27 sixty on the laser. The glove is soft and the hands work well in the infield. The feet need to remain active as he fields the ball to aid the process. Threw 80 mph across the diamond as the arm has strength to it. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 89 mph. The setup is wide in base. The hands are thrown to the ball, as he is strong to contact. The path can be shortened but gap to gap power is present. Solid player who is trending up.

Tee Exit Velocity- 89 mph
INF Velocity - 80 mph

2/17/19

6-foot, 150-pound, longer, lean athletic frame, shoulders squared off, has added strength from last event. A right-handed hitting middle infielder, continues to impress in all aspects of his game. At the plate, spread out approach, hands at the shoulders with bat starting in more of a tilted position. Lower half is controlled, uses a larger leg kick, gets loaded back, hands have separation from body. The swing is flat through the zone, with more of a middle to pull approach and finishes higher with some lift at the end of the swing. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 86 mph, has enough pop to get the baseball into the alleys. Runs a tick above average at 7.07 sixty-yard dash. Defensively, projects more for me as an offensive second baseman, hands are clean, fields out front with a smooth transfer. The arm works out of a natural slot, can throw from different angles when needed. The arm was clocked at 73 mph,  down a tick from last event, still early in pre season. Clean pivots and turns from both sides of the bag at second. Feel for the game, sleeper, need to see him.

Tee Exit Velocity- 86 mph
Arm Velocity- 73 mph
Sixty-Yard Dash- 7.03

8/23/18

5-foot-11, 150-pound, longer, lean athletic frame, with plenty of room to add weight on. A right-handed hitting middle infielder. Defensively, shows soft hands, works around the baseball, with feet moving throughout. Looks to field out front with a clean gather into belly. The arm works from a ¾ to low ¾ slot, cocked at 78 mph, good touch on throws, showed the ability to get enough carry from the 6-hole. The feeds and turns were accurate from both sides of the bag. Offensively, wider setup, feet are even, uses a knee to knee buckle for timing, gains ground on stride foot. The hands have separation from frame in loading phase, small arm bar, recovers and keeps hands inside the baseball. The swing is flat through the zone, had a tee exit velocity of 83 mph, with more of a pull approach. Strength is a must, ran a 7.53 sixty-yard dash, like the tempo of his game, interesting follow.

8/19/18

5-foot-11, 145-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder. Ran a 4.63 down the line on his dig to first base. The athleticism is very good in the movements. Threw 78 mph across the diamond from shortstop to first base. The arm is clean and the glove is soft. The prep steps to and through the ball are done appropriately. The frame could add weight to benefit his game. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 85 mph. The setup is wide in base, hands set on the low side. Uses a knee to knee approach on the bottom half as the ball gets to the hitting zone. The path is long and flat through the ball. I like the bat, and the athleticsm. Additional strength gains and this guy could be a serious prospect.
