On the mound, Hios uses a quick, high ¾ arm slot to produce a sinking fastball that sits 82-85 mph (Max spin 2264; Avg 2021). The delivery is simple, easy and in line with home plate. He gets to a good position at the top and lands square with an athletic finish.
