He begins in a balanced, athletic stance with the hands relaxed just off the back shoulder. A short stride triggers a simple, uphill swing that stays on plane through his finish. Behind the plate, Arias showed some arm strength with a velocity of 71 mph and a pop time range of 1.97-2.04 during throw downs. His initial setup is clean. The feet are square, the chest is tall and the head is level. As he transitions to throw, he shows off a fluid transfer, sure hands, and consistent, smooth footwork. He also recorded a time of 7.63 in the 60-yard dash.

5-foot-11, 185-pound, average athletic frame, showing strength throughout, body works with minimal effort. A right-handed hitting catcher, showed well on both sides of the field, put together a very good workout. At the plate, setup is balanced, even feet, loose and relaxed hands at shoulder height.  A controlled lower half with and easy foot pick up and put down, hitting against a firm front leg. The swing is super loose, free and easy, very smooth, drive the baseball to all fields. The exit velocity was clocked at 99 mph, an advanced approach. Defensively, had a pop time of 2.09-2.15, arm strength of 71 mph. slight guide on throws, has more in there. Could stay a tick lower and through it a bit more.  Receive very well during bullpens.

Exit Velocity: 99 mph

Arm Velocity: 71 mph
