10/20/18 - Committed to Coastal Carolina shortly after the weekend, the right hander had an impressive first inning. Working up to 88 mph he has a loose and live arm with a lot of upside in the frame. Continues to improve and progress and has a high ceiling.
09/15/18- Uncommitted, listed at 6-foot-4, 185 pounds, he had a long, loose and projectable frame. Arm is fairly loose and worked from a low 3/4 slot. Fastball worked mostly 81-85 mph with some arm side run. Showed a sweeping slider at 67-71, that showed harder depth when thrown harder. There is some present athleticism and the arm is loose. The slot has been higher in the past and when on top at 3/4 the fastball had some additional life and tilt as well. Struggled with repeating the release point at times, but struck out four and there is upside in the arm and frame.
08/15/18- Typical projection right-hander with advanced velocity for 2020. Lot of room to add on the body. More velo to come. Curveball will tighten up with more strength and can become a solid offering. Changeup should develop to a quality pitch and allow fastball to play up. Overall, he has a very athletic frame with a quick arm. There is length in the arm action and command will need to continue to improve, but there is a very high ceiling. FB: 87-88 (89); raw velocity CB: 70-71; slurvy shape that pops above planeCHG: 80; developing
