10/15/17- Florida recruit. Quick twitch athlete. Fields the ball under control and really trusts his hands, shows range, and makes a strong throw with accuracy across the diamond from the left side of the infield. Quick release, makes the off balance throws. Open stance at the plate with a short, level swing from the left side that creates hard contact with above average bat speed. Showed some pull side-pop during batting practice. During the game he singled and then followed it up with a ball over the right field wall for a home run. Aggressive runner on the base paths this translated in the game when he stole two bases. Barger really stood out all around and was one of the biggest risers on the weekend and will be a high follow going forward.
