05/29/16- Notre Dame recruit. Currently ranked No. 61 in the Florida 2016 class, No. 344 overall. Strong, athletic, durable, projectable build on a 6-foot-4, 200 pound frame. Short, quick arm action with a simple, repeatable delivery. Lands on line out in front. Fastball sat 91-92 mph with some arm side run during the game and topped out at 93 mph. Curveball sat 69-70 mph with shape and depth. Change up was 74-75 mph and he showed similar fastball arm speed. Throws strikes.
3/31/16- Notre Dame commit who stands 6-foot-4, 200 pounds with a tall, lean, athletic, and projectable body. He has a shorter, ¾ arm action that gives his fastball and changeup some good, late arm side run. Against Harvard-Westlake he sat 89-92 and touched 93-94 mph. He showed an above average changeup that was 70-74 mph that was difficult for hitters to pick up. 71 mph fringy curveball.
2/26/16- Notre Dame commit who stands at 6-foot-4, 200 pounds with a tall, lean, and projectable frame. Short, quick ¾ arm action and fills up the zone with an 89-92 mph fastball. Good 75-78 mph changeup as he keeps the same arm speed as his fastball and has some arm side run. Slow, big-breaking curveball at 69-72 mph and he throws all three pitches for strikes. 3 IP, 0 hits, 0 runs, 6 Ks against TNXL.
3/4/15 - Notre Dame commit. 6-foot-4, 190 pound right hander with a tall lean loose athletic body. Loose arm with an overhand slot. Mechanical and deliberate delivery. Takes ball out in line and lands slightly across his body and locks out front leg. Fastball is 84-89 mph. Has some tilt when he gets out front. Slider is 73-74 mph and he gets around it too much. Changeup is 69-71 mph and slows down to throw it.
Transferred from Kaneland to IMG Academy in Florida after his sophomore year. ...
6/4/14 - Commited to Notre Dame. Ranked No. 7 in the state, No. 29 overall. Long lanky frame at 6-foot-4, 190-pounds, lean build, highly projectable, can add plenty of weight. Delivery works strictly from the stretch, toe lift to balance position, hands separate slightly outside knee. Short back side arm action, hand works through window close to head, erratic release point at times, can gain extension. Arm is extremely live, fastball has life through the zone, pitched mostly at 87-89, touching 90-91 throughout second and third innings, occasionally cuts fastball, fastball command can improve. Secondary offerings have not developed to the level of his fastball yet. Curveball lacked feel, soft action at 64-69 mph, left up in the zone, tends to get underneath secondary stuff as well as decelerating arm action. Holubecki has clearly one of the top arms in the 2016 class, his arm is quick producing a live fastball. Developing his secondary stuff and harnessing his command could make him nearly unhittable at the high school level.
1.19.14 - Long thin athletic frame, long legs, 6-foot-3, 190-pound right handed pitcher, typical pitchers frame, projects well. Works from the stretch only, up tempo delivery, high ¾ arm slot, loose arm action advanced arm speed. Lively fastball sat 89-90 mph every pitch. Breaking ball showed signs of improvement, slider sat 67-69 mph, some decelerated arm action but increased action. Action worked between 11/5 and 10/4 tilt, occasionally showed well above average depth. Changeup flashed arm side run, 74-76 mph, looks to have more confidence. Notre Dame commit, one of the top prospects in the region, electric arm with high potential.
7/23/13 - Long and lanky frame, thin build, 6-foot-4, 195-pounds. Holubecki is one of the top overall prospects in the region. Holubecki stood head and shoulders above the rest with his fastball touching 89 mph. His delivery works directionally from a tall and fall style, shows rhythm with level shoulders and an athletic finish. Worked exclusively from the stretch. Arm action is extremely quick, short backswing with extension out front, ¾ arm slot. Fastball has slight run, late finish through the zone, touched 89 mph twice, sat 86-88 mph, occasionally erratic in the zone. Breaking ball is still a work in progress, 69-72 mph, flashed a sweeping plane. Holubecki’s fastball proved to be too hot for opposing hitters to handle. Reaching 89 mph it features late life through the hitting zone, getting on top of hitters quickly. Holubecki is a high follow in the region and you will certainly be seeing his name frequently over the next few years.
2/18/13 - Lanky frame with athleticism, 6-foot-2, 175-pound two way player. High level 2016 prospect on the mound, showed high ceiling, very projectable. Delivery has balance, tall and fall. Arm action is long in front, quick arm speed, ¾ arm slot. Fastball has sink from ¾ slot, 84-85 mph, thrown with above average command for age. Curveball lacks true axis, still refining breaking ball, arm slot suggests potential for a sweeping slider. Change up is closer to being ready, occasional sinking action, arm shows signs of deceleration, 68-71 mph, has a feel for the pitch. In the outfield showed a long arm action from an elaborated crow hop, 4.39 runner home to first. Offensively hits from a balanced setup, heel lift trigger, 78 mph exit velocity from the tee. Will project highly on the mound, potential to be a high level sinker slider guy from his ¾ arm slot.
3/11/12 Holubecki is an athletic 6-foot, 160-pound multi-positional player who impressed in all facets of the game.  Holubecki showed soft hands, fluid footwork, and a quick exchange defensively at shortstop and in the outfield.  In the outfield, Holubecki approached the ball with natural instincts, taking good routes to the baseball.  He showed a strong, accurate arm (74 mph from the outfield and 72 mph from across the diamond).  At the plate, Holubecki has a slightly open setup and showed some pop in his swing.  On the mound, Holubecki throws from a high 3/4 arm slot, which included a 71-75 mph fastball with run and sink, a 61 mph curveball, and a 58-60 mph changeup.
