1/27/18- North Carolina State commit, stands at 6-foot, 175 pounds and looks to have continued to have added strength in the shoulders and lower half. Defensively he is a very sound, solid defender. The range is a little limited at short, but should be an above average defender at second base at the next level. The hands work well and takes quality angles and has a strong arm, topping out at 88 mph. The best tools is his bat and will be an above average offensive infielder at the next level.  Starts with a wide base, but stays loose in the load with a small leg kick trigger. He clears his lower half well and creates above average bat speed. The barrel works out in front with loose wrists and bat to ball skills. Exit velocity was 93 mph and shows gap-to-gap power and power potential as he continues to get stronger.
07/29/17- Committed to North Carolina State University.

12/03/16- The 6-foot-1, 165-pound middle infielder carries an athletic frame with broad shoulders, good forearms, and high hips.  At the plate the right handed hitter displayed a balanced stance with low hands.  The bat path was smooth and direct to the ball showcasing backspin line drives around the field.  Defensively, Haymaker’s athleticism showcased a quick first step and athleticism around the ball.  Arm action lacks the fluidness you desire but the arm is strong and the ball carries well across the field. He has plenty of upside and is only going to get better.
9/23/16 - The athletic, high waisted middle infielder has a very lean and projectable frame. He hits from a wide base and uses a simple load, but still manages to use the lower half well. He has a level path through the zone and a gap-to-gap line drive approach in which he consistently found the barrel. He also showed good actions at short with enough arm strength and good enough footwork to project to stay there. Very interesting going forward.
