2/13/15 - Florida commit. 5-foot-11,180 pound shortstop with a lean, athletic body that suits him well for a MIF spot. At the plate he has an open stance, gets good separation, and has good rhythm. He uses his lower half well and he has a good lefty swing plane. Hits with authority to all fields. He has average bat speed that produces gap power but will increase with added strength. He is a switch-hitter but I only saw him from the left side. In the field he is polished with quick, light feet and soft hands. He takes great angles on balls hit his way and has an average to above arm from SS with a short, quick, and loose release. He has very good instincts in the field. Against Wakulla he was 1-3 with a BB.
