During batting practice he showed the ability to use all of the plate as he sprayed lines drives all over. Registered an exit velocity of 82 mph. 01/08/17- Stands at 5-foot-9, 175 pounds with a solid build. In the field he showed good actions, ability to make the play, and move to his left and right freely. Throws to the bag were accurate. Also shows good awareness in the field as he made a heads up play during the game playing third. Open stance at the plate and shows good hand eye coordination. Made consistent contact with a level plane and had multiple line drives back up the middle during batting practice. On the mound he throws out of the high ¾ arm slot and featured a fastball the sat 68-69 mph along with a 57-58 mph curveball and a 63-66 mph splitter. As he learns to use his lower half more and get more extension out in front, his velocity should see an uptick.
