10/23/16- Florida recruit. The big strong lefty has a lot of deception in the delivery, but the stuff is there as well. The fastball ranged from 87-89 mph with late arm side life and a slider at 75-77 that makes him very tough on left-handed hitters.

10/16/16- Florida recruit. The 6-foot-5, 210 pound left handed pitcher is a big strong kid. He showed a long arm swing with some funky action to it. He has a good lower half and showed some feel for a fastball with some heavy late life ranging from 86-89 mph.  He also showed a slider at 74-75 mph. A big strong lefty with some feel makes him interesting going forward.

07/09/16- Committed to the University of Florida.

07/08/16- Uncommitted. Passing the eye test at 6-foot-5 205 pounds, Colton is already very physical with room to continue to fill out and get stronger. Starting slightly crouched, he does not yet get full use out of his legs, but with a clean strong arm action his fastball ranged from 86-88 mph while the slider showed some depth at 71-72 mph. As he continues to figure out his body and sync everything up, he should see some jumps in velocity in the near future.

9/27/15- 6-foot-4, 195-pounds with a tall, lean, athletic, and projectable frame. Loose actions all over the field. Short, quick swing with a nice plane. Stays balanced and shows good patience. Runs well for his size and is an aggressive player.
