10/16/16- Florida State recruit. 6-foot-2, 185 pounds with a strong, projectable build. Has a simple, repeatable delivery throwing out of the high ¾ arm slot with a clean and easy arm action. Fastball sat 90-91 mph which could jump as he continues to learn to utilize his strong lower half. He also showed above average feel for the slider which ranged from 79-81 mph on which get got both of his strikeouts on.
4/5/16- Florida State commit who stands at 6-foot-2, 185 pounds with a physical, loose, athletic, and strong frame. Clean and easy delivery that he repeats. Loose arm action that fluctuates between a ¾ and high ¾ slot. He sat 88-91 mph for two innings and was 86-88 mph in his third inning of work against Calvary Christian. His changeup is his best off speed pitch at 78-80 mph as it looks like his fastball out of his hand and has late dive. Average curveball at 73-75 mph that breaks two planes. He still has room for more velocity with added strength. Grady looks like he is shaping up to be a 2017 draft.
2/9/16- 6-foot-2, 180-pound Florida State recruit. Athletic, strong body with a muscular lower half. Repeats and finishes well. Showed good presence and poise on the mound. Fastball sat 87-89 mph and mixed in a curveball sitting 71-73 mph that was a downer. Struck out two in his two innings of work.
8/6/15 - Verbally commits to Florida State
7/1/15 - Good present strength, with a high waist and long-limbs, he still has the room to get stronger as he continues to mature. His fast ball was 88-90 mph, with some run and sink. Curve ball was 74-75 mph with 3/4 tilt and some depth. The change up was 81-82 mph with some feel and arm speed. Threw strikes. More velocity coming with physical maturity.
